Update

Just letting everyone know although I haven't sent email schedules out in two or three weeks, we're still meeting regularly on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6pm and Saturday mornings at 9am. Our size of a group hasn't grown yet to the point of establishing a distinct "A" and "B" group pertaining to skill level. We're having about 3 to 4 come to ride pretty regularly.

Our weekday rides are easy as you want to ride with an out to Yonah Dam and back which is about 22 miles in all. Some push it from time to time to see what they can do.

Our Saturday ride is anywhere from 35 to 45 miles and very enjoyable. It's has plenty of climbing and incredible scenery too, so much so that our Tour de Tugaloo this year is going to incorporate a lot, if not all, of our Saturday ride and completely eliminate the dogleg to Currahee club (thank goodness).

We are putting together a 3 Gap ride for a Saturday coming up in the next few weeks. For that we could carpool/meetup at Turners Corner and ride Neals Gap, Wolfpen Gap and Woody Gap. That route is around 35 miles and lots of fun. If you've never done it, you owe it to yourself to tackle the task. Those Gaps are the three southern Gaps of the Dahlonega 6 Gap Century. There would be loads of cyclist out there riding on any given Saturday. I've done it alone a few times and can knock it out in two and a half hours.

All right everybody! We hope to see you out riding!

Until then...

Keep SPINNING~!
